Larool Pre-School is a community based not-for-profit Pre-school. We rely on student fees, State Government funding and generous donations of time and/or goods and services from parents, the public and local businesses. We use these funds to pay for our excellent teachers and support staff and for the general running costs of the Pre-School. We budget to break even each year.
Current fee for the 2018 school year is $45.50 for a 4 year old child (turning 4 before 31 July 2018) and $66.00 for a 3 year old child per day. This fee covers the normal daily attendance of your child. An enrolled child results in a fee commitment to the end of that year, but fees are invoiced and paid at the start of each term. Four weeks written notice is required to withdraw a child from Larool, or to reduce the number of days attending.
A $25 non-refundable fee is payable by any new applicant to have a child placed on a waiting list. For families already at the Pre-school, the fee is $15 for a sibling. Click here to go to our Waitlist forms.
A $200 bond is payable to hold a place for a child for the following year. For a new child enrolling this is payable within five days of an offer of a place. The bond will be credited against your final invoice when leaving the Pre-school. It will be rolled over for siblings that attend the following year.
Annual Membership fee:
This $2 fee allows a family to join the Pre-School as a member, and therefore enables enrolment of your child at the Pre-School. It is required by the Pre-School constitution.
Activities and Maintenance fee:
This fee assists in the ongoing costs of maintaining and improving the Pre-school, continuing the cleanliness of the environment and maintaining the garden area. It will include incursions and visitors to the Pre-school; Mothers Day and Father’s Day gift stalls; a fun social event such as the disco; and end of year book gift for each child. The fee of $50 (per family per term) is added to each Term invoice or your first invoice if joined part way through the year.
