OUR MAJOR FUNDRAISING EVENTS
As a community based, not-for-profit Pre-school, Larool encourages and receives help from many quarters - from parents of children at Larool, but also from external businesses.
Formally, the Pre-school is managed by a committee of dedicated parents who are elected onto the Management Committee at the AGM each February. A team of parents, known as SPLAT, are responsible for all the social and fundraising activities of the Pre-school. But the Pre-school could not thrive without the support of the wider parent community and businesses from the local area.
2011 Trivia and Games Night of Nights ***At the Movies***
Many businesses kindly and generously donated goods, services or cash for us to use at our Trivia and Games nights which are held each year as our major fundraising activity. In the past, money raised at these events has allowed us to carry out major improvement works such as:
- resurfacing the playground
- installing new playground shade-cloth
- replacing our iconic wide yellow slide
- purchasing a new classroom piano
