At Larool, children feel safe, supported and inspired
Choosing a pre-school is a big step and an exciting one! We understand how important these early years are. We’re here to make the transition joyful, meaningful and memorable for both the children and their families.
At Larool, children feel safe, supported and inspired. They are encouraged to explore, create, sing, dance, discover, wonder and grow.
Our environment celebrates and supports each child’s individuality, creating joy in learning while nurturing their confidence, curiosity and imagination.
This is a place of laughter, friendship and discovery. A community where friendships are made, voices are heard and every child is valued.
Larool Pre-school shares it commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all children including the implementation of the Child Safe Standards.
Nestled amongst the beautiful bushland of Thornleigh, Larool Pre-school has been providing high-quality early childhood education to local families since 1972. For more than six decades, we have been a cherished part of our community, welcoming generations of children through our doors.
Larool Pre-school is a not for profit, community based pre-school, managed by a team of parents on our Management Committee.
Licensed by the NSW Department of Education, we reflect and celebrate the diversity of our local community.
Providing quality care and early education for children aged 3 to 5 years with qualified educators working in partnership with families to ensure every child thrives.
Larool Pre-school is proudly community based, managed by a dedicated parent management committee and shaped by the community, for the community. These dedicated committee of parents are elected at our Annual General Meeting each March.
The Management Committee acts on behalf of all families in the pre-school community, working to reflect the voices and values of our members. In partnership with the Director and assisted by the Administration Manager, the committee volunteers their time to oversee Larool’s governance and operations. The committee meets twice per term in the evenings at the preschool.
Our curriculum builds the essential skills for a smooth and confident transition to school. We embrace a strong focus on children's social and emotional development as well as developing independence to ensure that each child has the skills to become active and confident learners.
The educational focus is enhanced within the pre-school with children refining skills and knowledge in addition to preparing them for their next stage in their educational life of "School".
